Radar launch monitors use Doppler technology to track your ball flight, measuring speed, trajectory, and spin by detecting changes in the electromagnetic waves that bounce off the moving ball. Some models integrate cameras, but radar is the primary data capture technology. They typically sit six to eight feet behind your hitting position for a clear view down the flight line.
